# okay....on forums i normally select the text i want to quote, and then click on the quote button
....however when i try this here, the text gets deleted and all i am left with is the quote tag! the sme thing happens with stuff like italics, underline etc! (-:
## maybe i am not using the buttons correctly....any ideas? (-: |

Hello brother
I tried it mate and it works fine, highlight the text then press the Quote tag, it works in here so not sure why it is not working at your end?

# yeah...maybe some problem here at my end! ))-:
...however i would clarify here that "reply with quote" works fine...it's the quote thing that doesnt work for me! like say i am typing something, i select some typed text and click on quote...that doesnt work for me...however, "reply with quote" works fine! (-:

Yeh mate the Italic is working on my end
and the bolding
and the underline
by highlighting the text then pressing the required tag

can you please check your profile and see if it allows HTML and BBcode Tags when posting
I have seen it some where, please let me if you can't find it
